THE WAIVER

What is “the Waiver”?

The waiver is a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement (“the waiver”). By signing the waiver you will waive or give up certain legal rights, including the right to sue for negligence, breach of contract or breach of the occupiers liability act or claim compensation following an accident.

Who has to sign a waiver?

All participants on VMT trips must sign a waiver. When you register for a trip you will be asked to read and agree to the waiver prior to finalizing your reservation. We will have a paper waiver for you to sign in person at the start of your trip.

What about minors under 18 years old?

Guests under 18 years old must have their waiver witnessed by their parent or legal guardian. Any guests under 18 years old who plan to attend a winter trip at VMT must seek special permission from VMT and the minor’s parent/legal guardian will be asked to sign an Acknowledgement of Risk Form.
