Terms & Conditions

  • All bookings made with VMT are considered final and confirmed once a deposit has been paid.

    Trip deposits are 30% of the cost and are non-refundable due to the administrative and planning costs associated with each booking.

  • A non-refundable 30% deposit is due upon reservation.

    For summer trips, full payment is due on May 1st prior to your booking.

    For winter trips, full payment is due on October 1st.

    Please be aware that we often have a wait list. Late payments can result in a loss of your reservation. An email reminder will be sent before the payment is due.

  • If you are no longer able to attend your VMT trip, please contact us via email as soon as possible: info@vmt.ca

    For winter trips or summer guided tours, we may allow you to transfer your spot to a replacement guest (subject to VMT notification and approval).

    For summer private trips, we may be able to transfer your booking to a future date (if we are informed before the final payment deadline and subject to availability).

    If you are unable to come at the last minute for any reason and are unable to find a replacement for your spot there will be no refunds or credits given. Trips will not be cancelled due to weather, snow conditions or wildfire smoke.

    In the unlikely event that VMT is unable to run the trip for any reason, you will receive a 90% refund or a credit towards a trip in the following season (subject to availability).

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellation, which is available through many travel agents.

  • All VMT guests are required to adhere to our COVID-19 protocols, which are set out here.

  • All participants on VMT trips must sign a release of liability, waiver of claims. When you register for a trip you will be asked to read and agree to the waiver prior to finalizing your reservation. See our waivers here.
