Dale Caton
has been living in Hills and skiing in the Valhallas since 1978 and has been operating Valhalla Mountain Touring since 1993. When he isn't skiing, hiking or mountain biking he takes his VW Van and folding kayak to places like Baja, Mexico where he spends his time regenerating his energy for another busy VMT season.

Evan Stevens, VMT's lead guide, was born and raised in a suburb of New York City. After graduating from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Geography, Evan moved west to begin an avalanche forecasting career in Utah. After discovering Selkirk powder Evan left backcountry avalanche forecasting for the Utah Avalanche center and now guides full time with his IFMGA Full Mountain Guide certification, and membership with the ACMG and the AMGA. Contact Evan at evanstevens@gmail.com to book a summer rock climbing or mountaineering trip.

Jasmin Caton grew up in Hills B.C. and has been hooked on skiing ever since. After completing a M.S. in hydrogeology at the University of Utah Jasmin has rejoined us at VMT. Jasmin is an ACMG assistant rock guide and works for Squamish Rock Guides during the summer. Contact Jasmin at jasmincaton@gmail.com to book a rock climbing adventure or course.

Benny (the dog) is the latest addition to the team. Although no dog can ever replace Lily, who was with us for 13 years, Benny is trying hard. Often times he is out front breaking trail for Evan, hucking 20 foot cliffs trying to follow him, or hanging out in the snow in front of the lodge.
